The art of slow mornings
id: 10052869

My morning used to look the same: alarm clock, quick coffee, rush, and halfway to work I would remember that I forgot to have breakfast. It seemed to me that it was simply impossible to do otherwise, because life dictates its own rhythm.

One day I decided to do an experiment - at least for a week to start the day slowly. To do this, I got up 30 minutes earlier. The first few days were difficult, I wanted to sleep longer, but then I started to get a buzz from this time.

I would make aromatic coffee, go out to the balcony, listen to the city waking up, or read a few pages of a book. And it turned out that this calm start makes me much more productive. I stopped feeling like I was constantly “running,” and the day became more fulfilling.

After a week, I realized: a slow morning is a small luxury that I can afford every day. And it doesn't require money or special effort, just a decision to appreciate the first minutes of the day.
