Three things i value in people
id: 10056672

If you put aside all the unnecessary, I realized that for me there are only three things that determine how comfortable I am around a person.

The first is the ability to listen. Not to interrupt, not to give advice where it is not asked for, but simply to be there and listen. It is a rare talent - to listen to understand, and not to answer. I had a friend with whom we could be silent for hours. I could talk about something stupid, and she still listened as if it was the most important thing in the world.

The second is ease of movement. This quality is not about irresponsibility, but about the willingness to live. When someone says: "Let's go to the sea tomorrow" - and we go. Or: "Let's bake a pie at three in the morning." It's like the ability to not be afraid that it will be "uncomfortable" or "wrong".

The third is a warm sense of humor. Not sarcasm, not jibes, but the ability to laugh with kindness. Sometimes one joke can warm you more than a blanket.

These three things are like the foundation of a home for me. Without them, the walls are empty, but with them, it's always light.
