I've noticed that each person has "their" color. Some always choose green because it calms. Some surround themselves with blue to feel depth and space. And lately I've been thinking about what color I'm missing.
My days are filled with a familiar palette: a white teapot in the kitchen, gray asphalt, beige walls, black letters in a book. Everything is correct, calm and... a little the same. And I suddenly realized that I was looking for a new shade. Not for the sake of beauty, but for the sake of change within.
It seems to me that if yellow, like the first sunflower in the field, or turquoise, like the sea in July, appeared in my life, I would feel light. As if paint could become the key to mood.
Maybe I'll "give" it to myself soon - buy something bright, or repaint the wall, or just choose a new nail polish color. Sometimes you don't need big steps to change. It's enough to add just one missing shade to the palette, and the picture comes to life.
