"the more choice, the better." and i feel dizzy from this choice 🙃.

When you have only one pair of shoes - you wear them and don't worry. When one guy asks you out on a date - you go and feel special. But when there are ten? You start choosing by little things: whose nose is different, whose jokes are worse, whose car is older. And in this choice you lose the taste for the process itself 🚪.

I noticed: the more options, the less pleasure. At first it seems like freedom, and then you realize - it's just a different kind of cage. Because you always think: "What if there is an even better one? What if I'm wrong?" 🤯

And the worst thing is that in the end you can be left with nothing. Not because nothing suited you, but because your head is so tired of choosing that you don’t want anything anymore.

Maybe that’s why sometimes those who had almost no choice are happy. They didn’t spend years on comparisons, they just lived with their “only option” and didn’t torment themselves with thoughts. And we, spoiled, still think that something more is waiting for us around the corner.

A large choice is not about happiness. It’s about the eternal “what if”. And sometimes I think: maybe one door is better, but your own 🚪✨.
