No one calls, no one demands, no one puts other people's expectations above my desires. Just me, the sea and the sun.
I used to think that vacation was something secondary: work, business, meetings. But one day I just found myself on a small island where time flows differently, and I realized that this is not an escape, but a return to myself 🌊. Every morning I drink coffee, listen to the sound of the waves and think about what I really want.
There is no need to pretend, smile on schedule, be someone for others. Here I can allow myself to be strange: swim in storms, walk barefoot on hot sand, pretend that the world around is in no hurry. And it is... magical ✨.
Sometimes it seems to me that a vacation on an island is not just a vacation, but a small school of life. You learn to appreciate the simple: the sound of the wind, the smell of salt, the warmth of the sun. You understand that happiness is not in people or things, but in the moment that belongs to you.
And here I am standing on a cliff, the wind playing with my hair, and I understand: sometimes the best solution is to leave the usual world, at least for a week, to understand who you really are. No one will tell you what is right, no one will appreciate your choice. Only you and your freedom 🌅.
Maybe I will return to normal life tomorrow. Or maybe I will stay a little longer. But I know one thing for sure: a vacation on the island taught me to listen to myself and appreciate moments that no one can repeat.
