I think this is one of those ideas that could only come from a person who has never tried to park on a Friday evening after work. 🚗💨 Or on a weekend, when all the streets are clogged and you only want one thing - for everything to go smoothly, without bureaucracy and small fines.
And the strangest thing: paid parking creates the illusion of order, but in reality... it's the same chaos. 🌀 People rush from one free space to another, get nervous, argue with neighbors, and the machines chew up your money with the air of a well-deserved sacrifice. And all this for what? So that the city becomes "convenient"? I doubt it.
Sometimes I feel like paid parking is like a relationship where you're constantly told "it's right," "pay," "adapt," but in reality, no one cares about your comfort. 💸 And then you just want to get out of the car, breathe in the air, and shout: "I won't play by these rules!"
But then I come back, insert a coin, check the receipt, and drive on. Because, after all, rules are rules, and someone has to pay for all this madness. 😅
And yet, every time I see a free space with a sign "free," I feel a small triumph. 🏆 As if I've beaten the system, at least for one minute.
