We've all lost our illusions.
- About eternal love, where "in sorrow and in joy" (but in sorrow, for some reason, we're more often alone).
- About the fact that you can eat chocolate without consequences.
- About the fact that tomorrow I'll definitely start running in the morning.
And every time dramatic music sounds inside, as if we've lost a whole world. But then you suddenly realize: well, okay, at least now I have reality. It's unfiltered, of course, but in it you can decide for yourself whether to turn on drama or comedy.
What remains after lost illusions?
- A little wisdom (not a fact, but I want to believe).
— A new portion of sarcasm.
— And the main bonus: the ability to laugh at yourself and at life.
Maybe we only need illusions so that we can tell our friends funny stories later: “Do you remember how I thought that…?”
So, if we are going to look for lost illusions, then it’s fun to do it. And who knows, maybe along the way we’ll find not an illusion, but something real? Or someone 😉
