Choice of the day. coffee or tea? book or tv series?

This morning I stood for a long time in front of the kitchen cabinet, choosing between coffee and tea. It would seem like a small thing. But how I would live my day depended on this choice. Coffee is for those days when you want vigor, movement, plans, new tasks. Tea is about calm, comfort, softness. And so I look at a jar of coffee, a pack of bergamot tea and think: who am I today?

I chose tea. I sat with a mug in my hands, watched the steam rise, and felt that the day would be soft. I did not want to rush. I turned on the music, found a cozy playlist and realized that sometimes it is such morning decisions that direct us where we need to go.

Book or TV series? Here's another dilemma that sometimes defines the evening. When you pick up a book, you're ready to dive into the author's thoughts, explore, feel deeper. When you turn on a TV series, it's like a light conversation with friends, where you can escape from your thoughts. Yesterday I chose a book. Reading always makes me see the world with different eyes, even if it's a light novel. Every word seems to color the day with new shades.

You know what I noticed? These simple things - coffee or tea, a book or a TV series - are actually what our mood is made up of. And mood, in turn, shapes everything else. Too often we think that only big decisions are important: where to go, who to work for, who to be with. But it's the little habits and rituals that make us who we are.

Today my day smells of bergamot and words written by someone else's hand, but which have become my thoughts. And what it will be like tomorrow depends on what I choose in the morning.
