Favorite autumn tradition
id: 10056672

Autumn is not only about falling leaves and sweaters. For me, it is always associated with a certain tradition, without which this season simply does not come. I usually start it in mid-September, when the air gets cooler, and in the mornings I want to wrap myself in a scarf.

My favorite tradition is to collect all the coziest things in the house and create an "autumn corner". I take out candles, blankets, books that are waiting for this time. Sometimes it looks funny: like an adult, I create a small "shelter" for myself. But this is what makes my autumn so delicious and real.

This corner is the place where I come in the evening after a busy day. I light a cinnamon-scented candle, brew tea with apple and sit, leafing through a book or flipping through notes that I made in the summer. It's like stopping in time, a moment for yourself.

The tradition seems simple, but there is depth to it. Every year I add something new to it. Last year it was photos that I printed out and hung nearby. This year it was a small pumpkin lantern that I bought by accident.

I don't know how many years I'll continue this, but I think it's these habits that make life brighter. They help me remember that autumn is not the end of something, but the beginning of a new period that can be filled with warmth.
