Some girls are afraid of sports, as if it is something “unfeminine”. But I think that each of us has the right to feel strong - not only in the head, but also in the muscles, in endurance, in how the body reacts to challenges. There is nothing sexier than a confident girl who knows that she can lift weights, run a kilometer faster than yesterday, or is simply not afraid to fall and get up again 🔥.
I love my arms that can hold the barbell, and my legs that are not afraid of a sprint. I love my heart that beats faster from a workout, and not just from a romantic story. And you know what's weird? The stronger I become physically, the softer and more tolerant I become towards myself and the world 🌿.
Why does someone still think that it is “not becoming” for a girl to be athletic? Doesn’t strength make us more beautiful, more confident and freer? 🤷♀️ Maybe it is in sports that we find that real harmony that long conversations and dresses sometimes don’t give us.
Have you ever felt how your body teaches you to be strong not only physically, but also emotionally? 🏃♀️💖
