Today, my breakfast was strangely important. Not because I tried to cook something special, but because it turned out to be a mirror of how I feel. On the plate were avocado with rye toast, a couple of berries, and a cup of strong coffee. And you know, at that moment, I realized that sometimes your food says more than any words.
I slowly spread the avocado on the bread, catching the moment when the butter and green pulp mixed almost perfectly. Such a breakfast requires time and attention - and I realized that today I was ready to devote time to myself. Not because someone said it was beautiful, but because I myself was pleased to watch this process.
Coffee with a bright aroma and a slight bitterness became the very accent that gave the morning richness. I like it when breakfast seems simple, but at the same time rich in details. As if I read myself through food: the freshness of avocado is my need for lightness, berries are a small joy, and toast is my support and stability.
And I also noticed: how I react to taste. Sometimes I look for spicy or sour, sometimes sweet. Today - balance. This reflects my mood, which does not require change, but allows me to be in the moment.
Sometimes I think that breakfast is a small meditation. While I cut fruit, while I pour coffee, I feel my rhythm. It's like a morning ritual that says: "Now you can just be." And this feeling of harmony that appears through such simple actions, for some reason gives the feeling that the day will definitely be special.
I remember yesterday evening, how I sat with a book and tried to catch the melody of the rain outside the window. Yesterday was a bustle, and today breakfast is pure pleasure. And this feeling when everything is perfectly balanced, like my mood: a little focus, a little lightness, a little joy.
I often notice that food can become a reflection of how I perceive the world. Today, breakfast is calm and neat. And sometimes it is chaos, when everything is mixed, hasty and unpredictable. And this also makes sense, because every day is a new variation of who I really am.
And this is not about healthy eating or trends. This is about how a small plate can become a map of the inner state. Sometimes the coffee is too strong - and this means that you need energy. Sometimes something sweet - and this means that you want joy. Today is a breakfast of calm, and I am grateful to myself for this.
And when I finished my coffee, I felt ready for the day. Breakfast passed, but the feeling remains: I know myself through simple things. Through aroma, through taste, through attention to detail. Sometimes all it takes is a plate to know: I'm okay, I'm in my place, I'm real.
