If you close your eyes and imagine a dream weekend, I immediately find myself in Bali. The morning there smells of the sea and coffee. I wake up early, but not from the alarm clock, but from the soft light and rustle of palm trees outside the window. The first thing I want to do is go out onto the balcony barefoot, breathe in the moist air and feel that the day is just beginning and it all belongs to me.
Breakfast is always light - fresh fruit, mango, passion fruit, a little coconut yogurt and coffee with spices. After that - a long way to the ocean. The sound of the waves, warm sand under your feet and an endless feeling of freedom.
During the day, you can get lost in the small streets of Ubud, buy yourself a handmade bracelet or try a local dish that is cooked right on the street. No plans, no schedule, just the desire to follow your mood.
And in the evening - sunset. Sunsets in Bali are special: the sky turns pink, then orange, and a few minutes later dark purple. At such moments, it seems that the whole world has stopped just to look at the beauty.
My ideal weekend in Bali is not about luxury, but about freedom. About the opportunity to stop, feel the ground under your feet and remember how nice it is to be in harmony with yourself.
