We notice that he forgot to call, that he is tired, that he is afraid to tell the truth. And instead of waiting, we act.
I often catch myself taking the initiative, even when inside there is a little girl screaming who just wants to relax and trust. 😏 But trusting sometimes means adapting, and I don’t know how to adapt. I know how to manage. To lead a conversation, make plans, sense the mood. And yes, sometimes this scares men: we seem too decisive, too strong, too… real.
It’s interesting that many people think that leadership is something masculine. But we, women, are leaders by default. It doesn't mean being a dictator, it means being the one who notices, who creates balance, who holds the strings. 🌿 And yes, sometimes it's tiring. Sometimes you want someone to take responsibility. But most often I understand: no one can do it the way I can.
I often ask myself: maybe it's this very power that scares those we need? 💭 Why do men sometimes retreat from a woman who leads and doesn't follow? Maybe the world is not yet ready for equal leadership in a couple, but I'm ready to wait. Because being a leader is not about control, it's about honesty, about clarity, about the strength of feelings.
And yet... is being strong and remaining loved a contradiction? 🤔
