Recently, I caught myself thinking that people are afraid of being boring. Everyone tries to be bright, smart, interesting, and sometimes in this pursuit, simplicity gets lost. I love simplicity. β That moment when you can be silent and not feel like you have to say something "right."
And you know what? Being yourself is scary. Because not everyone is ready to accept your weirdness, your unpredictability, your silence. But that's the beauty of it: when you're accepted for who you are, it seems like the world has become softer, warmer for a second. π
I increasingly ask myself: why do we need all these masks? For the sake of other people's opinions, for the sake of standards, for the sake of seeming "normal"? π€ Or maybe normality is just an illusion, and the most valuable thing is to find yourself and quietly, without show, enjoy life?
So I'm sitting here, drinking tea, listening to music, and realizing: happiness isn't in the bright moments, but in the fact that you can be real, even if just for a minute, even if just with yourself. β¨
