We live in an era where the phone is closer than a friend. And that's not always a good thing. I caught myself unconsciously opening my phone, even when there's nothing new on it 🤯.
So I set a rule for myself: my smartphone is my tool, not my master. I turned off push notifications from most apps. And you know what, the world didn't collapse! On the contrary, I became calmer.
Another life hack is "digital unloading". Once a week I have an evening without my phone. At first it was strange, but then I realized that you can spend the evening with a book, music, or even a "live" conversation 😅.
Technology is power. But it's power that needs to be controlled. Because in the end, the main "device" is ourselves 💡.
