Why My Job Actually Helps My Relationships

Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder: Seriously! Distance really does make the heart grow fonder. When I'm home, it's quality time. When I finally find my other half, it will look like this: We’ll actually make an effort to connect, share stories, and appreciate each other's company. No more Netflix and chill every night ( unless we want to!). We are on a mission to experience as much time together as possible. ❤️ We plan fun days out: museums, dinners, theatre. It's the best!

Independence Boost: Being a flight attendant will make both of us so much more independent. I handle my travels, my crazy schedules, my quirky colleagues. He supports me but he is also just as independent. 💪 We trust each other completely! Is it a bad plan you think?

Communication is Key: This job has taught me the importance of communication more than anything. Before a big trip we may schedule check in times and when we'll see each other again. We’ll give each other updates on our days. ( I can't exactly call quickly being 30,000 feet in the air). 🗣️

Adventure is Calling: One of us will always have a travel buddy at all times! He gets to enjoy my travel perks from time to time. ✈️ We get to explore new destinations together. It's pretty awesome! 🌍Would you like to become this man one day? well, you know where to find me.

It's Not Always Sunshine and Smooth Landings

Look, I'm not saying it's all roses. There are definitely challenges:

Missing special occasions (birthdays, holidays). 😢

Dealing with different time zones. ⏰

Jealousy from others who don’t understand the lifestyle. 👀

The Secret Sauce?

But the key is… communication, trust, and a whole lot of understanding. ❤️ It takes a special kind of partner to embrace this lifestyle. But when you find that person, the rewards are incredible. Am I going to be lucky one day?
