I think romance is a myth 🌫️.

And then you meet someone, and you realize that love is nothing like in books. It doesn't smell like roses and doesn't come at the right moment; it's loud, inconvenient, strange, and sometimes even painful.

I noticed that most of my expectations were based on other people's fairy tales. And every time reality doesn't match the picture in my head, I'm disappointed 😞. Not in people, but in myself, in the fact that I've allowed illusions to control my feelings again.

Sometimes I think we're afraid to see true love because it's not beautiful in photographs, inconvenient in movies, and doesn't bring easy happiness. It requires patience, understanding, a willingness to forgive and accept, even when you want to scream from exhaustion. And so you stand in the midst of this chaos and ask yourself: "What if true love isn't a celebration at all, but rather work on yourself and your relationship?" 🀯

And you know, there's a strange freedom in that. The freedom to stop waiting for the perfect scenario, stop looking for fairytale signs, and just be with the person who's ready to be there, no matter what. Maybe that's what true romance is, the one that scares you the most 🌹.

Have you ever felt that true love isn't like a fairytale at all? πŸ’
