Re: To revenge or not?
id: 95239
I'm not going to try answer this question for everyone, I can only answer what is right for me and hope that it gives everyone reading this something to think about. If you are contemplating seeking revenge against someone that hurt you, you are harboring hate in your heart. Hate will only destroy you, it will not harm the person you hate. If that person cared what you thought about them, they would never have hurt you in the first place, right?

Honestly, all of us have probably been hurt by someone in our past, and yes, it certainly takes some time for the hurt to go away. But as long as you are focused on that hurt and the past, you can never have a future. You can not see what is in front of you by looking behind you! You will never find a happy future by living in the past, so forgive and let the hate and thoughts of revenge go. I think the best revenge against someone who has hurt you and rejected you is to move on with your life and create a happy life for yourself. Remember that happiness comes from within each person. No one else can give you happiness, only you can give it to yourself. Karma can be very brutal and almost always catches up with those people who treat others badly. Just be patient, sometimes Karma works very slowly! Forget about revenge, move forward with your life, and trust that Karma will work it's magic on the people that treat others badly.

Just my thoughts,
Kevin
