It seems like we've closed the door, stopped looking back, started a new chapter... and then they knock again, sometimes with a touch of nostalgia, sometimes with some kind of expectation.🤔

I believe that exes are the past.

They were part of our history, they taught us something, gave us experience, sometimes lessons that at first seem bitter, but then you realize that without them, you wouldn't be who you are today. 💡

Sometimes people come back because they miss them.

Sometimes it's to see that we've become stronger, more beautiful, happier.

Sometimes it's just to make sure that the "ex" no longer has power.

And that's okay. But it's important to remember: the past should stay in the past. 🔒

I often think that true feelings don't look back.
They only look forward.

Real attraction is when you're with someone you want to laugh with, dream with, and be yourself with, without looking back at who came before. 🌹

So, if your ex comes back... smile, thank them for the lessons, and keep moving toward your present.
After all, life is too short to waste it on other people's "what ifs." 💃
