Why do we love so much those who don't choose us? 💔

It's as if we're proving to ourselves that if we can melt their indifference, we're worthy of love. But is love really a test we have to pass to be noticed?

It scares me how powerfully unavailability attracts. 💭 When someone doesn't respond, our imaginations start working better than any screenwriter. We invent feelings for both of us, we create illusions, we justify indifference, we call it "mystery." And then we suffer from our own imaginary suffering.

Maybe it's because indifference gives us the opportunity to dream? When someone is too open, it becomes scary. Scary that I'll have to be honest too. It's easier to admire someone who remains silent than to risk showing myself without a mask.

But how can I let go of this strange attraction to those who don't reach out in return? How can I stop confusing excitement with love? 🌫️

Sometimes I catch myself thinking: maybe I'm just not ready for a calm feeling. Not a storm, not fire, not passion, but a quiet "I'm here for you." And that makes me sad. Because it's precisely in silence, without drama, that love thrives.

But will I be able to recognize it when I meet it? Or will I again be drawn to those who don't reach out to me? 💭
