Memories---- I drove up to My home town of North Bay at the end of August to visit with my sisters. I went of for just a drive to see what has changed. Lo and behold I found out that the city had purchased beach area that was formerly a private beach. Back when I was very young my friends and I would ride our bikes down here in the evening after supper and we would swim until well after it was dark. Now the city has turned it into a beachfront family park and the only thing missing is the change rooms as they seemed to have been torn down. If you are ever in North Bay Ontario during the summer and you are looking for a place to have a picnic I would recommend this beach as a good place to go. P.P. that is Lake Nipissing in the picture.
