Yes, here still turn off the lights, and sometimes it seems that everything has stopped. But you know what? I've learned to see beauty where I hadn't noticed it before.
Candlelit dinners are my new reality
When the lights go out, I light the candles. And do you know what I realized? Candles transform everything. Even the taste of the food. The shadows on the walls dance, the room is filled with soft light, and even an ordinary evening becomes special. I cook simple meals, drink tea and listen to music until the laptop battery runs out.
The stars are getting closer
Without city lights, the sky opens up in a new way. I've never seen so many stars as I have now. They remind us that even in the deepest darkness there is light. It's like therapy, you realize that you're not alone in the universe, that there's a whole cosmos above you, vast and eternal.
The neighbors and friends became closer. We share candles, food, and news. People have become kinder. I've learned that even in difficult times, you can find support and understanding.
Even dreams become brighter in the dark.
When you sit in the dark, you start dreaming about the future. About the day when everything will get better, when there will be light again, when I will be able to travel, meet with friends and enjoy every little thing. These dreams give you the strength to move on.
Now I'm enjoying what used to seem ordinary: hot tea, a warm blanket, a message from a loved one. These little joys have become my salvation.
All this has taught me one thing: even in the most difficult times, you can find the light. You just need to look around with different eyes.
Even in the darkest night, there are stars. And I'm one of the people who sees them.
