I don't need to reject the values I was taught. But I do need to test them against my own life, my own experiences, my own conscience. A wise woman isn't one who never questions—she's one who questions carefully, thoughtfully, and then makes her own informed choices. 🧠

What's best for me is understanding that obedience without wisdom is just blind following. And wisdom comes from listening to many voices, including my own inner knowing. Maybe true peace doesn't come from never disagreeing with authority—maybe it comes from having the confidence to respectfully disagree when my conscience demands it. 💭
