I think what's best for me is to honor this life instead of resenting it. For so long, I carried a kind of shame about where I'm from, like it wasn't enough, like I should want something bigger and more impressive. But the older I get, the more I understand that what I have here—roots, community, a rhythm that makes sense—is actually rare. 🌿

The best thing I could do is stop measuring my life against other people's standards and start recognizing the real wealth in mine. A woman who knows her value doesn't need the world to tell her she's important. She knows it from the work of her hands, from the respect of her community, from the way her choices matter right here, in this place.

I think I'm learning that the best version of myself isn't a girl from the city wearing city clothes and living a city life. The best version of me is the one who's already here. 🌾 The one who understands seasons and patience and honest work. The one my grandmother raised me to be.
