I think sometimes the old stories we inherit can trap us in a different way than the new ones do. Instead of being free to choose gentleness, we feel obligated to it. Instead of nurturing because we love, we nurture because we think that's what we're supposed to do. And that's not the same thing at all. 🌸
What's best for me is to build myself first. To know who I am, what I want, what I can offer—not in relation to someone else, but just for myself. And then, from that solid foundation, to choose to be gentle, to choose to support, to choose to nurture. Those choices mean something completely different when they come from a strong place instead of from need. 💪✨
I'm learning that a real woman—the kind I want to be—is first and foremost complete on her own. And then she chooses to share that completeness with someone she loves. That's real strength. That's real gentleness. 💛
Is it possible to give from fullness instead of emptiness, and would that change everything? 🤔
