In an imaginary world of course both love and respect are possible for entire life...but we live in real world, and after your passionate love fades away something else remains and it would be grate if it was respect. But nowadays couples seem to be together as long as they love each other. There are so many divorces and broken families just because they did't understand the matter of relationship.

For me it's quite simple. Love is not enough for me, I need to respect my man, which also involves trust and patience. When you are in love you are under your emotions, you behave like an idiot, you have no patience to partner's personal life. The only thing that can satisfy you is a complete possession of person you are in love with)

I do understand young people who prefer feelings only, that's ok, some time should pass to understand things which are more important than just feeling of love. Me? I want to love and be loved back, of course, but I prefer reasonable relationship, which I believe will overcome dificulties and will last for a long time.
