The first thing I value in a man is his ability to be truly himself, without hiding his emotions and vulnerabilities. Courage doesn't mean hiding your feelings behind a mask of steadfastness, but being bold enough to show your true self, even if it means being vulnerable.
Furthermore, for me, courage manifests itself in the ability to take responsibility for your actions and decisions. It's not just about making difficult decisions in challenging situations, but also about the willingness to accept responsibility for your mistakes and the lessons they teach.

Courage also manifests itself in the ability to listen and understand others. Being empathetic and compassionate isn't a sign of weakness, but rather a manifestation of true strength of character. A man who can listen and support, not only in words but also in actions, deserves my deepest respect.
Furthermore, courage for me is associated with respect for and care for the world around us. This could be caring for nature, animals, society, or simply for loved ones. A man who thinks not only about himself but also about others, about the world we live in, is a true hero in my eyes.
