This happened to me quite recently... and since then I've been thinking more and more: what if coincidences really don't exist?
It was an ordinary evening.
Nothing special...
I went out for a walk, just to clear my head.
Without a goal, without expectations.
At times like these, I love to observe the world: outside the windows, people, the light of streetlights.
I think there's something intimate about it,
as if you're peeking into other people's lives and simultaneously understanding your own better.
I stopped at a small old house.
I don't know why, I just felt drawn to it.
The light was on in the window, and there was a candle on the windowsill.
The strangest thing is that at that very moment, my phone rang. A message. From someone I hadn't spoken to in a while.
He wrote just one sentence:
"Have you ever felt like someone is thinking about you right now?"
I stood under this window, with a candle in front of me, and something inside me clicked.
As if reality had become thinner for a second.
I didn't answer right away. I just felt a warmth—calm, quiet, confident. As if I was reminded: you're not alone. You're noticed. You're alive.
Since then, I've often thought about signs.
About how we miss important moments because we're too hasty or too afraid to feel.
We search for love loudly through words, profiles, photographs.
And sometimes it comes in a whisper: through a look, a feeling, a coincidence.
I don't believe in fairy tales, but I do believe in depth.
In conversations that give you goosebumps.
In people with whom you can be silent and still be understood.
An attraction that can't be explained by appearance or status. It's important for me to feel that the man next to me isn't just "someone," but a person with thoughts, doubts, and an inner world. Someone who knows how to ask questions and isn't afraid of honest answers.
I'm interested in people. Their stories. Their shadows and light.
I like to discover what makes a person truly smile and what they hide behind their confident tone.
Perhaps that's why it's not always easy with me, but it's always alive.
Tell me, do you believe in such coincidences? Or was there a story you still can't explain?
Sometimes one honest thought can be the beginning of something much bigger... 💫
