Playing in the snow: fun and not at all embarrassing, even if you're a little over...
id: 10052353

It all starts innocently. You go out "just to get some fresh air." Then you accidentally step in a snowdrift. Then, out of pure curiosity, you pick up some snow. And then comes the point of no return: the snowball flies toward your closest relative, your husband, or just an innocent tree.
Sledding is a sport in itself for adults. First, you spend ten minutes bracing yourself, because "what if I fall?" Second, you're already screaming, "WHY DID I DO THAT?" And thirdly, you climb up with a feeling that your spine is slightly offended, but your soul is exultant.
Making a snowman is basically art therapy. You start with the classic "carrot-bucket" and end up with a strange creature with a crooked eye and a philosophical gaze. But it's your snowman. Unique. Just like you after three falls in a snowdrift. And there you stand, covered in snow, rosy-cheeked, happy, with wet mittens and a feeling that life is a success. Because sometimes being a serious adult means knowing when to fall in a snowdrift and laugh.
So play in the snow. Laugh. Fall. Make crooked snowmen. Winter is too short to spend it bored—even if you're "no longer supposed to."
