Words used to impress me more than they should have.

Beautiful phrases.
Big promises.
Plans spoken with confidence.

I wanted to believe them.
And sometimes I did.

But experience taught me something simple: words are easy.
Actions require effort, consistency, and responsibility.

Anyone can say they care.
Not everyone shows up when it matters.

Now I pay attention to behavior.
To how a man handles difficult moments.
To whether his actions match what he says — especially when no one is watching.

I notice if he keeps his word.
If he respects time — mine and his own.
If he takes responsibility instead of making excuses.

Actions reveal priorities.
They show what someone is truly willing to invest.

I’m not looking for perfection.
I’m looking for reliability.

A man who acts consistently doesn’t need to convince me with speeches.
His behavior speaks clearly enough.

That’s why I choose based on what I see, not what I’m promised.
Because in the long run, actions are what build trust — and trust is what builds relationship
