to be chosen — not just convenient
id: 10057920

Being chosen is intentional.

I’ve been in situations where I was present, supportive, understanding — but not truly selected.
I was there when it was comfortable.
And invisible when it required effort.

Over time, I learned to recognize that pattern.

Being chosen means someone makes space for you in their life.
Not only when it fits their schedule, but when it matters.
They don’t keep you as an option — they make you a priority.

I don’t want to be someone’s backup plan.
Or emotional support without commitment.
Or a pause between more important things.

I want to be with a man who knows why he’s with me.
Who doesn’t hesitate.
Who doesn’t keep doors open “just in case.”

Being chosen feels calm, not confusing.
It doesn’t require guessing or proving your worth.
It’s clear in actions, not explanations.

That’s the kind of connection I’m open to now.
Not convenience.
But intention.
