I used to think being a good wife meant anticipating every need, preventing every problem, smoothing every rough edge. But what if that's not help - what if that's actually interference? What if real support means stepping back sometimes and trusting that the person you love is capable?

I want to create a home where someone feels encouraged, not managed. Where I offer wisdom when asked but don't insert myself into every decision. Where my presence adds peace, not another layer of control disguised as care. Is that even possible? Can you love someone deeply and still let them struggle sometimes? 🌸
