Saint valentine or hypocrisy?
id: 10052793

We live in a world where feelings are supposed to be turned on according to the calendar.
14 February—it's okay to love.
What about the other 364 days?

Why is it that declarations of love suddenly become possible only on one specific day? Why do flowers, words and attention become an obligatory ritual rather than a genuine need?

We buy cards with ready-made phrases,
give hearts from shop windows, tick the box: love shown ✅
And then we return to coldness.

But love is not a one-off event or a holiday.
It does not live by a schedule and does not need the permission of the calendar.

For me, love is:

writing ‘I love you’ for no reason

hugging just because

laughing at a joke

being honest and faithful

choosing a person every day, not just once a year

If I love, I will say it every day
If I miss someone, I won't wait for a reason.
If necessary, I will always be there for them, not just on 14 February.

Let 14 February be just a reminder.
Not of when to love, but that love cannot be put off. 💔➡️❤️

Love is not a holiday.
Love is a choice.
