Men are surprised when i say that for me, the gym isn't about the body... it's about the soul

When I walk in there, I smell a special scent: a little metal, a little perfume, a little effort and patience.

And there's something honest about it. No one pretends there. Everyone works on themselves. And I absolutely love that.

Recently, I witnessed a scene...
A man in his forties was teaching his son how to do pull-ups. The boy couldn't do even one. He was angry, gritting his teeth. But the father didn't scold or rush him; he simply stood there and quietly said, "One more time. I'm here."

And at some point, the boy did a pull-up. Just one. But there was so much pride in his eyes... and so much tenderness in my father's. I stood there with dumbbells in my hands and suddenly caught myself thinking that sport isn't just about muscles. It's about character. About support. About how important it is to have someone by your side who believes in you.

Sometimes I look at the men in the gym and think...
How many stories are hidden behind their serious faces? Some train after a hard day, some after a breakup, some to prove to themselves that they are stronger than their circumstances. And there's something very masculine about it... and very attractive.

And there are funny moments too 😄
One time, a guy was trying so hard to impress that he added too much weight to the barbell... and then sheepishly asked me to help him take it off. I barely held back a smile. I like it when men are strong. But I like it even more when they are real. When they can laugh at themselves.

For me, training is almost meditation. When the body is working, the thoughts become clearer. Sometimes, that's where I make important decisions. Sometimes, that's where dreams are born.
You know, the gym taught me one thing: love is like training. It takes patience. It takes effort. It takes trust.

And if the right man is by your side, you can grow with him... become stronger together, not fight against each other.

Do you agree?
Sometimes it all starts with small habits. And ends in a big story. 🤍
