Not anymore! 💛 And honestly? It's been amazing. The right people don't run away when you tell them what you need. They actually respect you more! It's the wrong people who get upset when you start having standards. And that's such useful information, isn't it?

I'm not being demanding or high-maintenance 🌻 I'm just being clear. "I don't like when plans change last minute" - that's not unreasonable, that's honest! "I need someone who communicates clearly" - that's not asking too much, that's basic respect! But for some reason we've all been taught that having needs makes us difficult. That we should just be grateful for whatever we get and never ask for more.

Well, I'm done with that ☀️ I'd rather be alone and happy than partnered and constantly shrinking myself to fit someone else's idea of "easy." And the funny thing is, once I started being upfront about what I want and what I won't accept, I stopped attracting the people who would've wasted my time anyway!
