People act like this is small. Like it's beneath a woman to find meaning in nurturing. But I think those people have never truly felt what it means to be taken care of — really taken care of — because if they had, they would know it is one of the most powerful things one human being can do for another.

My faith teaches me that service is not weakness. Christ washed feet. The greatest among us became the servant of all. That is not a diminished life. That is a consecrated one 💛

I'm not talking about losing yourself. I'm talking about choosing — with full awareness and full heart — to make someone else's life a little more beautiful. That choice, made freely, is its own kind of strength.
