After reading your blog about the grandmother that is in dire straits, I wanted to at least shed some light from the States. First of all, we know life is not fair most of the time and we all have our struggles. Anyway, parents do not ever want to have to bury any or all of their children. It happened to my grandmother, she lived to bury her husband, and all three children including my Mother who was the most incredible lady ever in my life!

Now she faces a battle for her granddaughter and I wish both of them the best of luck and send my prayers to both. Nadine you did a great thing and that shows to the world the type person you are and I wanted to commend you on this. It touched my heart to read what you did and being unselfish when we all live in a selfish world now.

And when in life and with certain people even on this site you find those who are selfish and self centered. So you mentioned about charity organizations in other countries. No country is perfect and ours is not either however the one thing we do have are many charitable organizations in our country! I happen to be active in one myself, the cancer society! So yes we have many organizations and we raise money to support them so that they can help children for example. We have a big one called St. Jude's for Children. It gets no government help so they raise money from donations. They do not charge the family to help a child who is battling cancer. We have them for many other diseases and they do not get government money.

I hope that in Ukraine they will have something to help this child and many more of them that need help for medical situations. I want to say how much I respect you for contacting organizations and help find help that they need. I hope that you are successful in your search for help? More importantly, I just wanted to commend you as a person for doing an unselfish act. I hope that the prayers are answered? I will say prayers for them and send best wishes. I am sure others on this site would do the same thing unlike other ladies who only want money and gift and think this is love and a show of respect.
