I overcomplicate first impressions so much it's almost funny 😅
id: 10057371

Whether they're kind underneath the surface or just kind on top. I notice everything — the way someone holds eye contact, whether they laugh at their own jokes, whether they let silence exist comfortably or rush to fill it immediately 👀

People tell me I'm too in my head. And okay, fair. But I genuinely believe that first impressions carry real information — not the polished version someone wants to show, but the small stuff that slips through before they even realise it. The way someone treats a waiter. Whether they ask questions or just talk about themselves. Whether their eyes are warm or just... performing warmth 🌸

I'm young and I haven't had a hundred chances to read people yet. But maybe that's exactly why I pay such close attention. I haven't learned to stop noticing. I haven't been conditioned to dismiss details as unimportant. Everything still feels like a clue 💛

And honestly? I think that's a gift. A slightly exhausting one — but still a gift 😄

Does the very first moment you meet someone actually tell you more than months of conversation ever could? 🤍
