Yesterday evening my friend dragged me to karaoke.

I warned her: I sing badly
She said That doesn’t matter

That was the first warning sign 😄

The room was full
People were singing
Some of them very well
Then the host said:
“Next — Vanessa”
That was me
I walked to the stage
Took the microphone
And suddenly realized I didn’t remember the melody

The first ten seconds were experimental
My voice sounded like a cat walking across a piano
But something strange happened
People started clapping
Some even sang along
And I realized something:
Sometimes it’s nice to do something without trying to be perfect
...............................................

After the song a man at the next table raised his glass and said: At least you sing sincerely

I replied:That’s the only stable style in my life😄
