At some point I realised — the right people didn't need the explanation. And the wrong ones were never going to accept it regardless of how perfectly I framed it.

That was a quiet revolution inside me. No announcement. No drama. I just... stopped 🌿

Stopped shrinking the reasoning behind my choices into something more digestible for people who weren't really listening. Stopped performing accountability for an audience that had already made up their minds.

It freed up so much energy. Energy I now put into the things and people that actually deserve it — the consistent ones, the honest ones, the ones who show up without needing a speech to earn their trust.

At this stage of life, I'm not interested in convincing anyone of my worth. I'm interested in being around people who already recognise it — and adding something real to their lives
