Are you friends with food?

I used to be that girl who weighed buckwheat and cried after eating a pie. Now I eat pie. And borscht. And even lard sometimes. And you know what? I'm in better shape than I was in my 20s.

What's on my plate? In the morning – oatmeal with a banana or scrambled eggs with vegetables. In the afternoon – soup (I'm Ukrainian, so I can't live without soup) and something meaty with buckwheat/rice/potatoes. In the evening, it's lighter, but still filling. And yes, I can eat a chocolate bar. And not go crazy.
I'm not a master's degree in dietetics. I'm just a girl who got tired of torturing myself. And when I stopped fearing food, my body said "thank you." How are you with food? Have you also experienced wars with yourself? Or are you as calm as a boa constrictor? Share.
