Hello my dear readers)))
At the weekends I was interested with one TV program about traveling, where they showed how people in tribes live.
When in south african tribe someone does something wrong, he is taken to the center of a village and people start to tell about all the good things he has ever done. They do that for 2 days in a row.
People in this tribe believe that person is born to be good. Each of us desires to be safe, to love, to be happy and to live in peace. But sometimes people make mistakes.
Tribe sees these mistakes as cry for help.
They gather to raise this man, to reconnect with his true nature, which was temporarily interrupted, to remind who he really is, until he regains his truth: "I am good."
It's hard to believe that people, who don't live in civilization, with pure heart and soul help people to take the right path.
In our modern world people don't forgive mistakes. If you made a mistakes - it stays with you forever. Especially if it is something illegal.
Why can't person be given a chance, just like in this tribe?
Our society on the contrary can throw stones for mistakes.
How does it happen in your country? How are people helped to become "good" again? Or is there no forgiveness for mistakes?
With best wishes, Nina.
