We have a wonderful tradition of consecrating Easter eggs and eggs. In the morning we collect a basket and go to church. There we consecrate Easter eggs, Easter eggs, pysanka and other products. This tradition symbolizes the resurrection of Christ and brings blessings for the whole year - for health, peace and prosperity in the house.
After church we return home, break our fast with consecrated dishes and rejoice together. Easter eggs turned out very tasty, and the eggs were beautifully painted. It was cozy and family-like ❤️

And we also traditionally fight with Easter eggs. This is a fun game that has a deep meaning: beating eggs symbolizes the struggle of good against evil and the victory of life over death. Whoever wins - the one with the strongest egg, it is often kept as a talisman for happiness and health. And three more blows remind us of the three kisses when greeting “Christ is Risen!”.
