Feelings - are they real or just a fantasy?
id: 10058119

Feelings are a strange thing. Right? They can make you think about a person more often than you'd like, and at the same time leave you in doubt: is this even real... or did I just make something up myself?

We often confuse feelings and fantasy. We add meaning where there isn't one yet, we read between the lines, catch glances, remember little things and thereby build a whole story in our heads that doesn't exist...

But real feelings are different. They're not just about emotions, they're about actions. About stability, attention, about "I'm there" not in words, but in behavior. There's no need to guess, and there's clarity.

Fantasy is when you hold this story yourself. Feelings are when they are mutual and you don't have to make anything up.

And here's the most interesting thing: sometimes it all starts with a fantasy. With a small idea, with an interest, with a game. But either it turns into something real... or it remains only in your head.
