It happened to me in the hospital. I was sitting in the hallway, waiting for my turn, when a woman sat down next to me. At first glance, she seemed ordinary... but her gaze was strange, too deep 😶

After a while, she spoke up and asked if I believed in such things... and then she began to tell me. She had been in an accident: night, rain, an empty road... and suddenly a man appeared on the road. She braked sharply, the car skidded... but, as she said, she didn't hit anyone.

When she got out, the road was empty. No tracks, no person. Only silence. But the strangest thing happened later... She got into the car, looked in the rearview mirror, and saw him. That same man. He was sitting in the backseat.

She said she simply looked at him... and he looked at her. And a second later, he was gone. Just vanished.

After that, the car suddenly started, as if nothing had happened. And she looked at me and calmly said, "Since then, I'm no longer afraid of death."

I was distracted for literally a second... and when I turned around, she was gone. Just an empty space. And no one saw her leave.

Sometimes I wonder... was she even there?
