And, in my opinion, the perfect place for a first date doesn’t have to be expensive or “Instagram-worthy”. The most important thing is an atmosphere where it’s easy to be yourself.
I think the best dates happen where you can talk and hear each other. A cozy cafe with warm lighting, a walk through the evening city, a park with a coffee in your hands or a small restaurant without unnecessary pathos – these are the places that create the real magic of getting to know each other.
I don’t really believe in loud scenarios for a first date. When the music is too loud and there are a crowd of people around, it’s hard to feel the person next to you. But when there’s an opportunity to look into each other’s eyes, laugh at little things, talk about dreams, travels or favorite movies – that’s when real sympathy is born.
I also think that the perfect place for a date says a lot about the man himself. About his attentiveness, taste and desire to make the meeting comfortable for two, and not "for a tick". Sometimes even a simple walk by the sea can give more emotions than the most expensive restaurant.
For me, the ideal first date is when after it you don't want to go home right away. When you stand next to each other for a while, you slowly say goodbye and catch yourself thinking: "And I would like to see this person again."
