There's this moment...

and your very first instinct is to turn to someone and say "are you seeing this?" 🌅

And there's no one there.

Not in a sad way. Just... in a noticing way. Like your heart quietly reminds you that joy has this funny habit of doubling when it's shared. That some moments feel like they were designed for two people and somehow arrived early.

I think about this a lot lately. About how we spend so much time building our lives — careers, routines, little rituals, opinions about things — and somewhere in the middle of all that, we're also secretly building a space. A warm, invisible space that we're saving for someone without even realizing it 🤍

A favorite corner of the sofa. The side of the bed that's always free. The habit of cooking just a little too much.

Is that romantic or just human? Maybe both. Maybe they're the same thing.

I used to think love was something that happened to you — dramatic and sudden, like weather. Now I think it's more like a door you leave slightly open. You go about your life, you laugh, you grow, you have terrible Mondays and inexplicably perfect Tuesdays... and one day someone walks through that door like they already knew the way 🚪✨

And the scary part? You realize the space was always exactly the right shape.

So tell me — do you still leave that door open? Or have you quietly, carefully, started pulling it shut? 🥺

Because I really do believe the most interesting love stories start not with fireworks, but with two people who were both brave enough to keep waiting for something real.

And real things take time. Real things are worth it 💛
