I catch myself thinking: we have become a generation that reacts more than it thinks. The title and already the conclusion. The first sentence and already “I understand what this is about”. But did we really understand?

Reading is not just putting letters into words. It is the ability to hear another thought without interrupting it with our haste.

We are used to fast content. To a video that explains everything in 10 seconds. To posts that are supposed to “hit” right away.🫠
And slow reading is almost like a conversation. You don’t just perceive words, you digest them. You may disagree.

So, is reading dead?
No. It just became a choice, not a habit. And that's another story.
