When I first saw the photos of Antelope Canyon, it seemed to me that this was not Earth. It was as if someone had cut the rocks with subtle brush movements and hidden the sunset inside. The waves of the stone melted in shades of copper, amber and rose gold, and the rays of light fell from above as if the sky was trying to tell an ancient secret.
They say time behaves strangely in this canyon.
There is no familiar noise of the world. There are only narrow paths, silence and a light that suddenly appears almost mystically. Local Navajo legends say that these lands remember the spirits of wind and water. And when you look at the curves of the walls, you begin to believe that nature really knows how to keep secrets.
A thin ray of light falls from above, and for a second it seems that the whole world has stopped just for this moment.
It's probably places like this that remind people of their feelings. That love is also a journey through the unknown. Sometimes scary, sometimes beautiful, but always filled with light that appears even in the deepest gorges.
But sometimes the heart can travel before us.
