I've created a simple checklist for myself, and it's not at all scary. First, skincare. I finally bought a good scrub and a decent SPF cream, because the cellulite will likely stay, but velvety, flaky skin is a reality. Energy: I stopped forcing myself with diets and simply started getting up an hour earlier to walk in the park, not to lose weight, but to avoid suffocating in the July heat. Wardrobe: I threw out everything that "just makes me feel hot" and kept only one dress that I like myself in. And most importantly, psychology. I allowed myself to go to the beach even with pale skin and stretch marks, without "model-like" preparation. So, my readiness isn't about having a perfect body, but about having a perfect attitude toward myself. And if you're mentally sound and at least bought sunscreen, consider yourself 100% ready.
